How can MCX account be auto-settled?

As per SEBI guidelines, the actual settlement of funds needs to be done at our end at least once in a calendar quarter.

In case of any one of the following conditions, the account can be auto-settled without the need for a payout of funds to the client account:

 

On any given day:

  1. Margin in the MCX trading account is less than 225% of margin blocked in F&O on account of an open position for that day.
  2. The client is an active client (has traded once in the last 3 months) with a balance less than 10000
