Leverage is what Traders reqd. side by side less brokerage.

  12. Sir, for using leverage in option trading, is there any option to be changed in the buy order form or usual buy order is enough to utilise the leverage.

    Reply
    • Hi, the usual buy order is enough. Under the NRML product type, by default 2 times leverage is given for futures and options. So if you sell an option, then only half the margin required will be utilized for intra day.

  13. sir, even now I have tried to buy 150 qty call 6200 option at Rs. 35.00. But my order has rejected with reason that I am having only limit for Rs. 5110.00 i.e, my actual cash balance. No margin money was provided as you said. Kindly clarify as to why I have not able to buy with your leverage.

    • Hi V. Anthony, as I said mentioned earlier, leverage in options is only for selling side and not if you buy options. So if you sell the option, then only half the margin will be utilized.

  14. Dear Sir,you charge 15/- demat charge for delivery sale/buy order while other brokers make no demat charge for delivery buy.

    Reply
    • Hi Rajendra,

Whenever shares are moved out from demat account whether it is selling or transfer to another demat account, demat transfer charges Rs. 15 (Rs.9 charged by DP + CDSL charges) per ISIN are applicable.

For buying delivery, no such charges are levied. If after buying you request a transfer from our beneficiary to your outside DP account, then charges are levied as it is a transfer. This is the standard across all brokers.

Presently I am using your company’s per trade plan.

    1. If I move to per month plan (either equity or currency) would your charge on the pro rata basis for first month i.e. only for nos. of days left in the month, or you shall charge full brokerage?

As in case of Equity we know STT paid by us is set off during income tax filing.

    2. Do you know, or can you confirm from your account guys, the Taxes we pay in currency trading, can any of those tax of currencies can be set off in income tax filing ?

    Thanks

Please explain a few situations/examples in step wise manner
    1.Delivery Trade
If i wish to buy any share – Will use shortcut key F1
a)At Market price- by using MARKET while buying
b)At my desired price – by using LIMIT
If i buy using any of the above 2 methods at a price of 100.Now if i want to put a stop loss of 95,How can i do that?
Secondly if i want to sell the stock automatically if it’s price increases to 105,How can i do that?

    2.Margin Trade
Please explain the same steps as mentioned above for margin trade.

  46. Hi,
I have account with you guys and i wanted to file my taxes. It is very difficult to understand whether i had made any loss or profit in order to pay my taxes on my own. i would like to know if there are any Tax filing services which you can provide or any affiliated consultants who can do that as your partner. if you haven’t done that so far, i would like to request you to check if this is an opportunity to provide better service to your customers and also make money from that area where you don’t leave a place where customers might have to look around for the same.

Also please think of implementing a portfolio tracker which is similar to icicidirect.com,moneycontrol.com where you get all the transactions we have done with average price of sell and buy, profit and loss made in the transactions.

This would be a better selling point to bring in more people towards you which is lacking right now.

Please forward this request to your higher management to make this a reality in case you don’t have this in your pipeline.

    Thanks.

  59. Hi SAS advisory team,
Client ID KN108. Suppose, If I short one lot of 8200 Call option and at the same time within 15 to 20 minutes I short one lot of 8000 Put option of current expiry for a premium of 45 and 25 respectively and continue both the options upto expiry for a period of 10 days. My question is how much margin is required to short today and is this margin amount will be adjusted/reduced to lower amount since it is hedging, in the following days i.e. tomorrow or day after tomorrow. It was with R K Global DP I was doing before joining you.
    Awaiting your reply,
